Planning to roll a druid for your next World of Warcraft character? If you do, you'll find yourself choosing between two talent specs for this particular character class: the Balance build, and the feral build. Each build will have very distinct pros and cons, and for those still trying to hit 70, it's a matter of choosing the build the levels faster.
This was the case of Timat over at the forums, who asked the other resident druids about whether the feral or balance build was superior for levelling. Blizzard's Nethaera dropped by, although with her non-blue character profile to offer one of several suggestions:
Starting from about low level 60s - about 63-64 when you get into Underbog - balance is better than feral for leveling: if you are a good player. It's less "stupid-proof" than feral. Hence, unless if you know exactly what you're doing, go feral from 1->70.
As for the level before 60, the rest of the thread posters state that the feral tree made for faster levelling
Balance is better than feral for leveling past a certain level, but i seriously doubt that by the time we get to that level, if we switch balance we'll be fools. As a druid you use all of areas, but focus on one. That doesnt mean that we dont understand how to play balance.
